People Operations Specialist (Paris / Remote, FR)

As People Ops Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in the day-to-day management of our human resources operations reporting directly to the Head of People Operations. You'll oversee personnel administration, payroll management, and HR coordination on an international scale. Your key missions include managing the life cycle of our employees, ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations, and implementing optimized processes to support our company's growth.

Your next missions

Management & HR Coordination

  • Manage the life cycle of Free2movers: Onboarding/Offboarding, employment contracts, affiliation to social organizations, health insurance, etc
  • Keep HRIS (Personio) and the various follow-up files up to date
  • Establish procedures for hiring foreign employees (such as obtaining work and residence permits)
  • In a context of continuous improvement and structuring (scale up), create and formalize relevant processes and harmonize existing ones
  • Support various projects (mergers/acquisitions, tool synergies, optimization of payroll service providers, etc.)
  • Act as a point of contact for Free2movers, sharing and communicating key information to ensure the best possible employee experience
  • Ensure compliance with the French Labor Code and the company's internal rules and regulations
  • Monitor and apply regulations and collective agreements
  • Act as the main point of contact for Free2movers, sharing and communicating key information to ensure the best employee experience
  • Ensure compliance with the French Labor Code and the company's internal rules and regulations
  • Follow and apply regulations and collective agreements.

Management of outsourced payroll France & International

  • Prepare and check payroll elements and share them with payroll service providers
  • Check pay slips, STC, severance pay, etc.
  • Ensure rigorous payroll management in collaboration with payroll service providers in each country

HR Reporting

  • Draw up all the social dashboards needed to monitor staff activity: headcount, absenteeism, payroll, gender equality index, turnover, work-related accidents, etc.
  • Monitor all legal and contractual obligations

Expected skills

  • Bachelor's degree (Bac +3/+4) in HR management
  • 5-6 years of post-qualification experience in people ops management, preferably in a scale-up company with international exposure
  • Experience in developing and implementing optimized processes
  • Mastery of French payroll rules and knowledge of European regulations
  • Fluency in English
  • Ability to work autonomously and complete assignments within given parameters
  • Comfortable with numbers
  • Strong interest in parameterizing HR Tools
  • Good knowledge of legal obligations related to personnel management in France and Europe
  • Proficiency with Mac OS, Google Suite (Drive), and standard office software
