Senior Manager IT (Tunis, TN)

As part of its growth, Free2Move Tunisia is looking for an experienced IT Manager speaking French & English - TUNIS to help us develop and strengthen our engineering team.

In collaboration with our CTO based in France, your role will consist of recruiting, supervising and organizing our technical team based in Tunisia as well as applying and developing the procedures put in place by the group.

Your missions:

• Recruit a local technical and IT team (sourcing, fit interview, technical tests on premises, etc.)
• organize daily life (management of team schedules, distribution among business units, teleworking, management of the roadmap, establishing a strategy to ensure the completion of projects, etc.)
• Maintain the cohesion of the local team and guarantee their well-being - maintain the relationship with N+1 to avoid / dispel misunderstandings, bad interpretations, correct any blunders, guarantee good understanding of the teams and good communication
• Follow the development cycle ensuring that all key stages are respected and quality criteria respected.
• Supervise teams by helping them resolve problems, enabling them to carry out their work in the best conditions, advising them and helping them develop.
• Manage and optimize the Tech and IT budget, including your team members, their equipment and tools
• Set up and monitor KPIs

Required profile :

• Bac+5 training and you already have significant experience of 4 to 5 years in a similar position
• Hands-on by nature, passionate about product development: you can demonstrate at least 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer having developed web and/or mobile applications. You know how to read code and understand it. You can lend a helping hand to those who need it
• Ability to build and unite a technical team, you are recognized for your leadership and communication
• You have already evolved in a technical environment similar to ours:
• AWS / EKS / Docker / Terraform
• NodeJS / Javascript / Typescript / NestJS
• VueJS / AngularJS/ etc.
• Kotlin / Swift
• PostgreSQL / MongoDB
• Gitlab / ArgoCD
• You have already recruited / set up / supervised a technical team of 0
• You have experience collaborating with remote technical teams
• You have the ability to adapt quickly and manage uncertain situations, you are constantly looking for solutions.
• You understand cloud architecture and infrastructure.
• You have knowledge of IT security, data and quality
• You are curious, innovative and have an appetite for new technologies.
• You have good organizational skills, meeting deadlines and working in a team
• You have good communication skills
• You are able to monitor and manage several projects in parallel.
• You are enthusiastic and voluntary by nature, you like working in a team.
