Verrus extends service station coverage

Mobile phone payment supplier Verrus has signed a second contract with CP Plus, which will increase its presence at motorway service stations across England.
The five year-contract will see the Verrus PaybyPhone system offered at 18 RoadChef stations, with a further nine sites to follow later in the year.
Last October Verrus signed a five-year deal with CP Plus to offer its system at 55 Moto Service Stations (PR?Nov 2009). Both contracts saw Verrus replace the RingGo mobile payment system.
Todd Sothcott from Verrus said: This shows the intent of Verrus PayByPhone when an already valuable partner in CP Plus feels it appropriate to increase our portfolio with them. Business success in the these challenging times is built on relationships and product strength, both of which I feel is there in abundance between three very strong companies Roadchef, Verrus & CP Plus.
At both RoadChef and Moto sites, customers that stay in the car park for more than two hours are required to pay a parking tariff. They can pay for parking at the till in a service station restaurant or shop, or they can pay by mobile phone.
