Since then, the VINCI Group has entrusted GEA with the construction of all the equipment for its car parks at La Défense (Paris region).
The VINCI Group, a world leader in construction and associated services, operates more than 1,700 car parks in 15 countries, including over 600 in France i.e. 1.2 million car spaces.
During the past few years, GEA has also developed a parking maintenance activity at the request of its main customers.
GEA has also developed and installed new systems for secured lorry parks for the VINCI, EIFFAGE and ABERTIS groups.

In 2012 GEA was entrusted with the replacement of the entire parking management at Lyon Saint-Exupéry Airport (LYS), the fourth largest airport in France, with nearly 9 million passengers per year. The site has 13 parking lots with a total of 14,000 spaces. The parking network totals 60 entry and exit lanes, 22 pay-on-foot machines and 2 manned payment points
GEA was chosen in early 2014 to deliver a car park management solution for a newly built football stadium in Lyon, boasting 8 car parks with a total of 7,500 bays. GEA implemented a new advanced prepaid reservation system across the site, as well as the usual operational and functional solutions for transit, flow management, and direction.
With 22,900 public parking spaces deployed over 16 different sites, the Paris La Défense business district is known to be Europe's largest managed parking site.
The operator of the parking lots, Indigo company (formerly VINCI Park), entrusted GEA in both 2003 and 2013 with the renovation of equipment and management across the district.
