The Project Manager for the Genetec Security and IT teams will work with Genetec’s Information Security, IT Infrastructure, and IT Support teams to deliver fit-for-purpose solutions in a timely manner to our internal customers. This position will drive our project management practices - ensuring consistent forecasting, reporting, and quality of deliverables.
What Your Day Will Look Like
Facilitate the scheduling, prioritization, and implementation of all phases of projects within and between the various teams
Partner with internal customers to help understand their needs and ensure the timely delivery of projects and large tasks that meet their requirements
Communicate with team members and stakeholders the schedule, risk level, and scope throughout the project lifecycle
Track the state of deliverables throughout the project lifecycle
Assist in the creation of user stories and requirements gathering for tasks
Creating and/or maintain planning documents such as roadmaps
Assist in resolving roadblocks between internal teams and external blockers
About You
2-3 years of experience using Kanban and/or Agile management techniques
2-3 years working w/ IT Infrastructure and/or IT Security projects
PMP certification
Fluent in English, French is a strong asset
Experience working w/ multiple teams to deliver solutions that various customer segments
Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, VSTS/TFS is an asset
Great if you have:
Experience working with either traditional infrastructure and DevOps delivery styles
