About the Role

Passport is looking for a Human Resources Business Partner, Employee Engagement (we call the role an Employee Engagement Business Partner) to join the People Operations team (AKA: Human Resources Team). The Employee Engagement Business Partner role at Passport is focused on creating a culture of employee engagement supported by sound employee relations principles, manager effectiveness, and programming and brokering People Operations tools and services that create an amazing employee experience. In this role, you will primarily focus on helping managers achieve high success and collaborate heavily with your People Operations colleagues.

Responsibilities:

• Champion Passport’s People First culture
• Maintain awareness of Passport’s vision and direction
• Build partnerships with managers throughout the organization in order to provide thoughtful coaching
• Collaborate with Passporters and People Ops colleagues to craft thoughtful solutions to organizational and people-related opportunities and challenges
• Maintain high physical and virtual visibility throughout the organization and lead by example by participating in and supporting cultural events, impact teams, Slack channels, etc.
• Actively take part in and lead People Operations initiatives: employee engagement and strengths-based leadership, as well as other intra-team initiatives
• Constantly assess and make suggestions for improving Passport’s already amazing employee experience
• Support fair and consistent policy interpretation
• Quickly recognize needs and broker appropriate People Operations services and solutions
• Leverage information to understand and improve Passport

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of HR experience
• Prior experience and knowledge of HR practice areas including: employee relations, performance management, coaching, development, relationship management, risk management, organizational planning, communication, etc.
• Superior collaboration and communication skills
• Sound decision making skills rooted in data and information
• The ability to influence without authority
• High level of comfort operating within complex and ambiguous situations and environments
• The ability to effectively and creatively address challenges and opportunities
