What You’ll Do:

  • Operational Oversight: Manage and optimize daily operations, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Develop, implement, and review operational policies and procedures to drive high performance.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and evaluate the operational team. Collaborate across departments to ensure effective communication and teamwork. Lead recruitment and training efforts.
  • Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development and execution of business strategies. Analyze market trends and internal metrics to identify areas for operational improvement and help scale operations.
  • Budget Management: Prepare and manage operational budgets. Implement cost-saving initiatives while maintaining quality standards. Monitor financial performance against goals.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve workflows. Implement tools and systems to enhance operational efficiency. Manage projects aimed at innovation and operational excellence.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure legal, regulatory, and company standards are adhered to. Oversee health, safety, and environmental compliance initiatives. Identify and mitigate risks related to operations.
  • Customer Focus: Ensure operations meet customer expectations for quality and service. Address escalated customer issues and collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align operations with customer demands.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with senior management to align operations with company goals. Liaise with external vendors and suppliers to maintain effective partnerships.

Your profile

  • 5-7 years of relevant experience, backed by a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, or a strong combination of education and hands-on experience.
  • Leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve operational excellence.
  • Strategic thinker with a sharp problem-solving mindset, capable of addressing complex challenges and implementing solutions.
  • Extensive experience in budgeting, financial analysis, and cost optimization, ensuring efficient use of resources and driving financial performance.
  • Expertise in process optimization and proficiency with operational software (g., ERP, workflow management tools) to enhance efficiency and streamline operations.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong background in risk management, paired with a customer-centric approach to ensure service quality and satisfaction.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with a high level of comfort using these tools for analysis and reporting.
  • Highly proactive and energetic, with a demonstrated ability to work well both independently and in a team setting.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for learning, innovation, and continuous personal and professional growth.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent time management skills, ensuring that tasks are executed efficiently and deadlines are met.
  • Fluent in English, Dutch, and French (written and verbal), enabling seamless communication across diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Driver’s license (in state of residence), with flexibility for occasional travel.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% to support operational needs across locations.
