Are you ready to shape the future of customer relationships and drive business growth? At SKIDATA, we’re looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Specialist to join our team in Belgium. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for customer account management, fostering strong connections and identifying exciting new business opportunities.

What You’ll Do:

  • Customer Account Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for all customer account matters, ensuring long-term, trusting relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Business Development: Actively seek new sales opportunities, expand business within current accounts, and identify areas for improvement and lifecycle management of installed systems.
  • Sales Negotiation: Negotiate and close service agreements, Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) proposals, and modernization deals with a customer-first approach.
  • Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with the service and project management teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of SKIDATA products and solutions that align with customer needs.
  • Sales Reporting & Forecasting: Track and forecast key sales metrics such as results and annual forecasts, ensuring clear communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Opportunity Growth: Collaborate with the sales team to identify new business opportunities and drive sales growth within Belgium.

In this role, you'll play a key part in shaping the future of SKIDATA's customer relationships while actively contributing to our sales growth and success.

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, with 5+ years of proven sales experience, or a strong combination of education and hands-on experience.
  • Exceptional skills in negotiation, sales strategy, identifying customer needs, and building long-lasting relationships.
  • In-depth understanding of technology/IT, with the ability to leverage this knowledge to drive sales and business growth.
  • Proficient in utilizing CRM tools to track, manage, and optimize customer interactions and sales activities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage, influence, and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Highly organized with outstanding attention to detail, ensuring efficient handling of internal paperwork, requests, and follow-ups.
  • Proactive, energetic, and entrepreneurial, with a passion for continuous learning, collaboration, and knowledge sharing
  • Fluent in Dutch, French, and English (both written and spoken), with the ability to tailor communication for diverse audiences.
  • Holds a valid driver’s license (in state of residence), with a strong commitment to meeting client needs.
  • Open to frequent travel (up to 70%) to foster strong customer relationships and explore new business opportunities.
