It is intended to help decision makers gain a clear understanding of when a parking study is appropriate and what questions can be answered by the study. A separate chapter also addresses each broad study type, including the objectives and methodology common to most situations. Data needed to prepare an accurate study is also presented. Each chapter also includes a discussion of the assumptions and resulting accuracy typical of most parking studies.
