CARRIDA Technologies Are Proud To Present The CARRIDA Plate-i!

CARRIDA Technologies presents at PARKEN 2023 the CARRIDA Plate-i, an extremely cost-effective camera for license plate recognition with all features of the CARRIDA software library. It enables new applications based on ANPR, even for smaller parking lots and in the smart home sector. The smart camera is aimed at OEM partners and costs from 389 Euros, for orders of 1,000 units and including a CARRIDA software license. The Plate-i will be available in volume production from July, also without housing for individual integrations on request.

The CARRIDA Plate-i is an extremely cost-effective ANPR camera. It reads license plates onboard, and thus requires no external PC for ANPR processing.

The CARRIDA Plate-i offers onboard license plate recognition at an unmatched entry-level price. It enables stand-alone applications around parking management, access control with and without barriers, automatic gate openings, as well as for the management and authentication at e-charging stations and other on-street and off-street applications. The camera is designed to capture license plates at a distance of one to seven meters. It is equipped with a Sony 4K image sensor and infrared light for illumination in difficult lighting conditions.

Easy configuration and highest recognition rates

Powered by the pre-installed CARRIDA ANPR Server, the Plate-i is ready for use and can be configured quickly and easily via web GUI or REST API. Image capture, license plate recognition and, for example, license plate list management takes place entirely on the camera. The advanced CARRIDA software, with AI support ensures highest recognition rates of over 99 percent. Data and software encryption provides security and compliance with data protection requirements.

Made for outdoor use

For outdoor applications, the Plate-i features a housing that is waterproof and shockproof according to IK10. It can be operated in a temperature range of -20°C to 50°C and is also protected against humidity. The camera is manufactured in Taiwan, with development and software made in Germany. On request, the camera electronics and software are also available separately and without housing for individual integrations.
