The Solution

Every car park and bicycle renting station is equipped with a Commend Intercom system to ensure maximum security and service for parking customers.

The Commend system consists of 26 Intercom Servers (fifteen GE 200, ten GE 700 and one GE 800), which are installed across all parking facilities and the control room. All Intercom Servers are connected via TCP/IP network. The system works with analogue, digital and IP technology and interlinks the Intercom Servers via a TCP/ IP network to allow full intercommunication throughout.

All communication and security links of the Intercom system are managed via the clean on-screen layout of the ComWIN control software.

Short Profile of Sintesi S.P.A.

Sintesi specialises in car park management and construction. Sintesi currently manages more than 9,000 parking spaces in 19 car parks in the region around Brescia. Overall, the facilities provide parking space for an average 9 million vehicles per year.

At present, Sintesi has 55 staff members. To ensure easy, convenient control throughout, they have set up a monitoring room to manage and remote control all car parks and facility management systems, including CCTV, elevators, power panels, access control systems, and Intercom systems.



Sintesi also manages the citys bicycle renting system, which includes 27 renting stations (to be extended to 41 in the future), with a total of 290 bike racks. An extension of the service to the surrounding area outside Brescia is currently under consideration.

 Sintesi is a part of the Brescia Mobilità S.p.A. holding group, which operates the underground system (in preparation) and manages trafficrelated services for the city and surrounding suburbs, including public transport and other services, such as on-street parking facilities, traffic signalling and urban CCTV for the police force.
