Dahua Unveils DSS Professional V8.6

Dahua Technology, a world-leading video-centric AIoT solution and service provider, announces the launch of the latest upgrade to its security management software, DSS Professional V8.6.

This new version features comprehensive enhancements across key modules, Including monitoring, DeepXplore, intelligent analysis, access management, and integration. These upgrades significantly improve the software’s usability, aiming to further refine and elevate the user experience.

Innovative Parking Solutions in DSS Professional V8.6

The new features cater to a broader range of parking scenarios, including multi-story parking lots where entrance and exit cameras are shared between floors. The system now also supports filtering of invalid records and allows configuration of exit rules to ensure seamless entry and exit tracking.

One of the major highlights is the Parking Space Available Display function, which enhances the user experience by providing real-time information on parking space availability. This system integrates with:

• Information LED Screens
• Indoor Guidance Screens
• Outdoor Guidance Screens

These displays dynamically update to reflect the number of available parking spaces and can be customized to show placeholders, arrows, numbers, letters, and icons, making navigation easier for drivers.

Enhanced Categorization and Management

The updated DSS Professional platform introduces Parking Space Categories, allowing up to six different classifications. This feature enhances organization by enabling the configuration of reserved parking spaces and parking timeout settings. Facility managers can now track space status in real time, whether online, offline, available, occupied, or in an abnormal state. Advanced statistical tracking is also included, offering insights into average parking duration and highlighting the longest and shortest parking periods.

Visualized Parking Lot & Overtime Parking Alerts

To improve parking security and efficiency, the Visualized Parking Lot feature provides a clearer, more intuitive display of occupied and reserved spaces. Additionally, the Overtime Parking Configuration helps enforce parking policies by allowing users to set up to six time periods per day and define up to 128 customized rules. This ensures better control over unauthorized or prolonged parking.

Upcoming Innovations: ANPR Camera and WingX Barrier

In addition to software improvements, Dahua is preparing to launch cutting-edge hardware solutions. The upcoming ANPR Camera Module Product is designed to enhance automatic number plate recognition, making vehicle identification seamless. Alongside this, the WingX Series Springless Barrier will offer more durable and reliable entry and exit control, further streamlining parking lot security.
