During Parking Talks, evopark Explain How Collaboration Is Essential to Customer Satisfaction

Gaetano Cuciuffo, Head of Sales at evopark.

As we saw in last week’s Parking Talks focused on construction, in the parking industry, companies often need to work together to create a parking facility equipped with all the technology required to create a seamless experience for the customer. This week’s Parking Talks focused on collaborations, and Gaetano Cuciuffo, Head of Sales at evopark, joined the discussion to share his thoughts.

How Important Do You Think Working Together with Other Companies Is for the Overall Customer Journey?

“I think that the cooperation between different companies is crucial for a better customer journey. If companies open up their own applications and their own systems and communicate with other applications, even if they are from their competitors, it is of much greater benefit to the customers. This is key, especially when we talk about smart cities or the transport and mobility sector, where it is essential that data is exchanged without restrictions in order to guarantee a pleasant experience for everybody, with less congestion and less pollution. Of course, all of this must be regulated by the government.”

Can You Give Us Some Examples of Great Collaborations in Parking?

“We at evopark try to cooperate a lot with others. One example is our cooperation with mobility providers, and especially our strong relationships with automotive OEMs which has made it easier for parking operators to generate new revenue opportunities. Our partners here are Porsche, Daimler and Volkswagen, but also AXA Insurance, ADAC and parking app providers like AppyParking.

“Furthermore our close cooperation with parking providers made it possible to develop new software solutions for parking operators, such as our solution for the digital administration of season parkers. We also work together with institutions like Bundesverbandes.

“Last but not least, I would like to mention the companies APCOA and VeloCARRIER, who we are working with on a project called mFUND, which develops ways for car parks to become a transfer point for last-mile delivery.”

What Can We Expect from evopark This Year?

“This year will be characterized by growth and rollout at evopark. We already have the first parking operators on our new easyContract solution, which is a web-based tool for the administration of season parkers. We want to expand our customer base here across both municipalities and private parking operators.

“In terms of our solutions portfolio, we want to launch a solution for short term or frequent parkers by the end of this year. And furthermore, we want to continue expanding our gateway program so that we can offer more and more car parks to an increasing number of mobility providers.”
