GREEN Center Presents a New Solution for Ticketless Parking

In March, GREEN Center announced new extensions of the GPP LPR camera system at the Intertraffic exhibition in Amsterdam.

Utilisation of a license plate recognition system brings more effective control over a car park for the operator and more comfortable experience for its clients. It provides also a possibility for a ticketless parking. In this solution, the parking ticket is replaced by a license plate number. The barriers only open once the system recognizes the license plate, no need to scan or take a ticket from a parking terminal.

Payment is processed in an automatic pay station by simply entering the license plate number. This results in saving costs for the parking media as well as effectively speeding up the clearance process, as there is no need for identification of or by the parking ticket anymore. This solution is designed for smaller and medium car parks.
