Charity donations instead of Christmas gifts

It has become somewhat of a tradition to send some small gifts as a thank you to our loyal customers and business partners for Christmas.  Christmas is the season of goodwill, and giving to others who are less fortunate than ourselves, this year Nagels Druck GmbH will change this tradition of small gifts, and make a charitable donation to the ‘Kempener Tafel der Martinus Hilfe e.V.’.

Nagels Druck GmbH a family-run business which has been operating for more than 80 years, founded The Nagels Group which has become one of the largest ticket manufacturers around the world supplying more than 60 countries on all five continents.

‘We are interested in supporting our region for traditional reasons of course. We support associations, and create apprenticeship training positions for the young, which in turn creates more jobs’, explained Werner Nagels. ‘We believe we act with our customers approval when we support those who are socially deprived. This Christmas, Nagels Druck GmbH will donate the Nagels Groupamount that we usually spend on Christmas gifts for our customers to the ‘Kempener Tafel der Martinus Hilfe e.V.’.’

The ‘Kempener Tafel’ was founded in 2001 andNagels Druck Kempen is one of 900 charitable organisations in Germany, who collect and redistribute quality food which is no longer required by the local businesses to people in need. The ‘Martinus Hilfe e.V.’ depends on donations and support all the expenses such as, their rent, electricity, and vehicle maintenance as well as all the necessary insurances. The daily work is accomplished by 18 volunteers who supply roundabout 150 households (400 People), with food, second hand clothes, and many household articles.
