National Parking Association Announces Parking Power Network Tour Sponsored by LAZ Parking

NPA Networking Events Set for New York, Chicago, Washington, D.C., Columbus and San Francisco, April-June 2013

- Washington, DC

The National Parking Association announces its first nationwide series of parking industry networking events—the Parking Power Network Tour. LAZ Parking will serve as the exclusive sponsor of the 2013 networking events. LAZ becomes NPA’s first commercial operator industry partner with this major sponsorship donation.

The networking events will be held in New York City, Chicago, Washington, D.C., Columbus, Ohio, and San Francisco. NPA members and guests are invited to connect with top parking industry leaders, peers and industry suppliers.

"LAZ Founder and CEO Alan Lazowski believes in the importance of fostering peer networks, best practices and opportunities for parking professionals, public and private, to succeed in a converging marketplace," said NPA President Christine Banning, CAE. "We thank Alan for his outstanding industry leadership, and his belief in a culture of inclusiveness and support in creating opportunities for parking pros to build their networks, careers and organizational success."

"NPA is known for its outstanding networking that brings top decision makers from all sectors of the parking industry together," Lazowski said. "It’s important that we create opportunities to build relationships that foster the growth and success of parking organizations and our industry. NPA is experiencing double-digit growth and now is a great time for the parking industry to meet the new NPA."

The NPA Parking Power Network Tour will provide introductions to industry leaders, business connections and access to industry advisors. This hosted event is complimentary and is open to guests who RSVP. Invitations will be extended via email and in NPA’s Parking magazine.

Lazowski serves on the NPA Board of Directors and Board of the Green Parking Council and founded the LAZ Charitable Foundation. He currently serves as Chair of NPA’s Development Committee.

The Parking Market Demand Report will provide an in-depth analysis of the macroeconomic, demographic, employment, travel and industry statistics that measure the potential of parking demand. It will be the first of its kind to assemble substantive research data, analyze the data and draw correlations between market conditions and their relationship to the parking industry. The study will be available for purchase at www.npapark.org.
