Planet Strengthens Its Executive Team With Two Key Leadership Appointments

Appointments to help Planet accelerate growth and advance its leadership in integrated payments and technology solutions for retail and hospitality customers.

Planet, a global provider of integrated payments and technology solutions for retail and hospitality customers, has announced two new appointments to its executive leadership team, with Ulric Delamare joining the company as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Morgan Hammersley as Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Both will report to Eric Heurtaux, CEO.

Ulric brings significant experience working in private-equity backed environments and managing high-growth businesses through both organic transformation and acquisitions. Morgan has a proven track-record designing, building and operating complex software and payments processing environments.

Ulric joins from Cooper Consumer Health, a pan-European OTC pharmaceutical platform where, as CFO, he helped grow revenue from €400m to €1.2bn. Prior to this, Ulric was CFO at Bambora, a Swedish payment company with operations in Europe, Australia, and North America.

Morgan joins from Global Payments, where most recently he was Executive Vice President & CTO, Merchant Acquiring. Prior to this, Morgan was CIO of Realex Payments, a European electronic commerce payment service provider and held senior leadership positions at eir Ireland, a mobile telecommunications services company, and Accenture, a global professional services firm.
