Portier Partner With Secure Parking UAE for First Installation in Dubai

Secure Parking has completed its first project with Portier in Souk Madinat Jumeirah, in Dubai. Souk Madinat Jumeirah combines traditional Middle Eastern shopping culture of stands, carts, and stalls with a mix of boutique brands, souvenir gift shops, luxury fashion, and jewelry.

It boasts over 25 restaurants offering cuisines from all over the globe. Every Souk Madinat Jumeirah restaurant and café offers picture-perfect views of the Arabian architecture, waterways or the iconic Burj Al Arab 7-star hotel. Souk Madinat Jumeirah offers also various entertainment activities, from show-stopping performances at the Madinat Theatre to Abra Tours of the stunning water canals and an exciting nightlife.

The parking garage at Souk Madinat Jumeirah is a two-story building built underground. Souk Madinat Jumeirah chose Portier to ensure convenient parking for its visitors arriving by car. Portier parking guidance displays were integrated into backlit signs showing the availability of parking spaces in different locations of the parking facility. These signs direct driving visitors smoothly into an available parking space. Portier’s ultrasonic space-specific parking sensors were installed on top of 479 parking spaces showing clearly an occupied or vacant parking space by red or green LEDs. In this location, our ParkSensor Twin was chosen to provide maximum visibility for the drivers. Twin provides the option to extend the LED light e.g. over the driveway in locations where garage structures block the direct view to the sensor located on top of the parking space.

Parking guidance displays, as well as space-specific parking sensors, make visiting at the Souk Madinat Jumeirah by car very easy and comfortable. Car is quickly parked, and more time is spared for exploring the Souk Madinat Jumeirah.

Portier HOST, our unique parking guidance platform combines all technologies used at the garage creating a single seamless user experience for the parking operator and the estate owner. HOST Server gathers all the data from the parking sensors and enables a variety of reports such as utilization rates and traffic flows, essential information for the parking operator.
