Car park Ossenmarkt at Groningen wins prize during ParkeerVak 2005.

The designer – ‘Bureau Noordeloos’ – has sent in the car park for this prize, that has been distributed past Wednesday during the ParkeerVak 2005 in Rosmalen.

Customer friendly design

The spiral form of the car park prevents difficult maneuvering for the customer. On the one hand because the columns - that generally form an obstacle in the car parks - do not impede. On the other hand, the spiral form makes the routing very easy because of the fact that the customer always drives straight through without complicated curves. Additional advantage is that the customer passes all parking spaces, so it doesn’t take long to seek a free space.

Independent acknowledgement

De Car Parking Project Prize has been awarded during the ParkeerVak 2005 by the Dutch platform for parking, the Vexpan. This organization represents rural authorities, consultants, service providers on parking, proprietors, and municipalities. The Vexpan requires quality, comfort and safety in parking industry.
