Pre-booking at Seven Newly Acquired Parking Facilities

Q-Park is excited to share that customers can now pre-book parking online at seven newly acquired parking facilities.

Q-Park completed the well-publicised purchase of Britannia Parking last year and since then a large amount of work has been going on behind the scenes to integrate Britannia into the Q-Park family as well as adding value to the existing brand. In addition to this there was also a portfolio of parking facilities that were earmarked to be rebranded to Q-Park, the first step of this process was to create the strong digital presence that the rest of their existing Estate already has.

Once this work was completed it means customers can now pre-book parking online at the following parking facilities:

Facilities in established Q-Park cities, like Edinburgh and Manchester, compliment nearby car parks while reinforcing their market-leading position. The other facilities allow Q-Park to enter entirely new locations to be able to provide Quality parking for the local community. This is only the first step of a huge programme of works that Q-Park will be rolling out to these new facilities. They will be fully rebranded to Q-Park’s recognisable yet striking branding on the building’s exterior, as well as improvements made to customer wayfinding internally with clearer signage in both the vehicle and pedestrian areas.

As part of a refurbishment of the of the onsite parking management system, Q-Park will install their own futuristic PaSS Automatic Number Plate Recognition system to provide seamless and more flexible access for both long-term and short-term parkers as well as opening up the parking facility for mobility partners to grant access to their target audiences. Painting and resurfacing works will be undertaken in both the vehicle and pedestrian areas to give the car parks a much more modern and fresher feel. Finally these parking facilities will be incorporated into Q-Park’s nationwide EV Charging Point rollout where customers will then be able to charge their car on brand new infrastructure.

John Denton, Director of Commercial at Q-Park UK commented ‘We are thrilled to introduce these new parking facilities to the Q-Park family. This marks the beginning of their transformation into true Q-Park car parks, and customers can look forward to the exciting enhancements we have planned to improve their city centre parking experience.’
