Quercus Technologies: New US subsidiary and new ALPR unit for North America

All-in-One SmartLPR® Access NA for parking and security was specifically designed to read license plates from the United States, Canada and Mexico. It provides plate number and state recognition at the same time.

Quercus has set up its subsidiary in New Jersey in United States and has developed SmartLPR® Access NA, an All-in-One ALPR unit which reads both license plate and state at the same time.

SmartLPR® Access NA is an automatic license plate recognition system designed to control the vehicle flow in accesses with barriers. It has been designed to provide accurate and reliable license plate information at any time of the day or night. The unit reads the text number and the state and it also captures color images. SmartLPR® Access NA provides a high resolution configuration which contributes to the optimum recognition of license plates with narrow characters and improves recognition in wide and complex lanes, where reducing the angle between the license plate and the camera is difficult.

The camera housing version is made of light and strong polycarbonate, guaranteeing a rugged housing.
