Scheidt & Bachmann GmbH and APCOA PARKING Deutschland GmbH Reinforced their Cooperative Partnership

Cooperative Partnership

The successful cooperation between the systems manufacturer for parking space management and the parking space management expert already began 45 years ago. APCOA offers its contract partners innovative solutions: From professional lifecycle management, maintenance and modernisation measures, intelligent investment strategies to developing innovative parking products and new locations. APCOA plans to expand its market position with the support of the strong and future-oriented technology partner Scheidt & Bachmann.

APCOA offers innovative solutions directed at already meeting the mobility requirements of the future. For example, parking clients can already plan their customer journey very comfortably: Searching for a parking space is made easy, entering and leaving the car park is touchless, payment is very simple and pre-booking systems are also available.

Scheidt & Bachmann will accompany APCOA’s strategic drive as a reliable partner. “Currently we are working on a project where customers can register themselves and preset their preferred method of payment. Using UHF tags, “seamless” car park entry and exit are planned – Germany-wide at APCOA locations and independent of the systems supplier. Payment is cashless and registered customers can check their monthly parking invoices comfortably. Mobility service providers can also be connected to the car parks via an interface”, is how Samuel Spaltner, Market Segment Manager DACH at Scheidt & Bachmann, describes current developments.

At EXPO REAL visitors were able to test and experience the automatic parking barrier for themselves at the APCOA stand.

One integral aspect of our strategy is to be able to offer our customers added value which is useful to them now and in the future, too. In our cooperation with Scheidt & Bachmann we are able to add an additional level of service true to the motto: Parking with no ticket, no cash and no stress”, says Detlef Wilmer, Managing Director of APCOA PARKING Deutschland GmbH.

EXPO REAL, Europe’s largest international specialised trade fair for real estate and investments (4 - 6 October 2017 in Munich, Germany), was the ideal place for the real estate industry to meet up. With more than 1,700 exhibitors it offered the optimum framework for B2B networking.
