Scheidt & Bachmann in the parking area of the cruising terminal on the Kiel Ostseekai

The parking area of the Cruise & Ferry Center, the extra-ordinarily equipped passenger terminal on the Kiel Ostseekai, has been equipped with a car park management system of Scheidt & Bachmann.

The Ostseekai is one of the city ports of Kiel. Around the Förde (bay), the Port of Kiel is divided into various harbour basins, making Kiel to the largest passenger port of Germany. Ocean-going vessels and inland water way barges of almost any size can moor here.
Kiel is a regular daily departure port to Norway and Sweden. There are regular connections to the Baltic states. The new Cruise & Ferry Terminal at the Ostseekai has a capacity to accept large ocean cruisers up to lengths exceeding 300 metres for passenger transhipment.
