Scheidt & Bachmann leads the way by introducing the first EPAS-compatible Outdoor Payment Terminals

During this years Cartes, the largest fair for card payment in the world, Scheidt & Bachmann will be the first supplier of petrol station systems to introduce EPAS compatible Outdoor Payment Terminals.

Scheidt & Bachmann have successfully implemented the EPAS interface in their Electronic Payment Server (EPS) product and OPT hardware platform.Scheidt & Bachmann has always had an innovative and customer-oriented vision, this is clearly demonstrated by this important development in cashless payment. With this integrated EPAS and Scheidt & Bachmann OPT product we are now clearly well positioned for the future of cashless transactions on the forecourt throughout Europe.

Within the scope of the project there are three protocols defined:
* Acquirer Protocol
* Terminal Management System Protocol
* Retailer Protocol
