Valet Parking Arrives at Hobby Airport

December 3, 2012 was the launch date for Valet Parking at William P. Hobby Airport (HOU).
The enhanced parking option, which is already available to drivers at George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH), brings with it a special promotional price of just $20 a day which lasts through January 7, 2013.
“These special prices give us a chance to say thank you to our valued customers,” says Houston Airport System parking director, Liliana Rambo, CAPP. “We want to do everything possible to make sure that their holiday trip is not only memorable, but affordable as well.”
The reduced rate takes $5 off the standard price associated with the service and is extremely competitive with the $17 daily charge associated with self parking in all terminal garages.
Drivers using the service will need to provide return flight information while checking in their vehicle to ensure that their car is waiting for them as soon as they return to HOU.
Passengers taking advantage of the special offer will also be given a free USA Today newspaper and a free bottled water.
Customers are encouraged to save even more time by reserving their valet parking. Also available exclusively to Valet Parking customers, is the SUDS Car Care service.
For as little as $30, customers can have their car washed by a team of professionals while the vehicle is parked in the garage. The portable car wash is environmentally safe, using a high-pressure nozzle that turns water into a near vapor and is designed to clean vehicles a few hours before customers return to Houston. SUDS associates also detail the inside of the customer’s vehicle.
