New Smart Parking Sensors Available

Paradox Engineering and MinebeaMitsumi are introducing new Smart Parking Sensors to enable data-driven parking applications. Above Ground and Under Ground versions are available for any indoor and outdoor car park, with a robust and strong housing to fit truck and coach rest areas.

New sensors are based on 6LoWPAN and support longer communication range compared to previous generations, with extended battery life granting autonomy up to 10 years. The dual sensing technology provides up to 99,5% vehicle detection accuracy.

Installation, configuration, and maintenance are extremely easy. With a plug&play technology, the sensors can be installed without cables, and under minimal road works. Wireless configuration and software updates can be managed automatically.

New Smart Parking Sensors are fully interoperable with 3rd-party software and hardware to design solutions for city and heavy-goods vehicle parking, and are completely integrated into Paradox Engineering’s and MinebeaMitsumi’s Smart City portfolio to follow the smart journey of urban communities.
